St. Peter Lutheran Church is a congregation of believers who come together to worship the Triune God in Christ in thought, word, and deed with praise, study, and fellowship. Both on Sundays and throughout the week, practicing our faith is important; and so, missions, programs, and groups extend our reflecting of God and our Lord Jesus Christ across our activities and individual paths.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Worshipping The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit Since 1911
In our Sunday services we pray, listen, and sing praises to God in voices loud and soft, yet united in harmony and Communion to praise the Lord.
St. Peter is one of over 6,100 USA congregations of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and one of eleven congregations in Fairfield County, CT.
Members and attendees are of every age and stage of life; working and/or retired, single, married, and raising families within many of the surrounding towns.
We’re a blend of Lutheran and other faith paths and roots long and short; each brings their own special background and path to the congregation.
We aspire to practice our faith and understand and obey God’s Word whether we’re single, married, youth, mother, father, grandparent, parents raising youth, or parents with college-aged kids. We have Events and activities on weekends and weekdays. Member fellowship events. Guest activities. Discussion groups. Bible studies in our building and in other towns. Speakers on faith and life topics.
Fellowship Happens. It happens before, during, after Sunday services, and into the week. Some talk more, all are great listeners, and each is encouraging, inspiring, and supporting of the others. Yes, His Word is the Light.
