Hello from Pastor Beinke

A Message from Our Pastor

Our church is the work of our Lord Jesus. He was born into and grew up in a normal family in Israel. His Ministry was conducted among the poor and the rich, the sick and the healthy, the young and the old, and encompassed many people and event. He was baptized along with, and in the same way as, everyone else.

Jesus’ first miracle took place during a wedding reception. He ate in people’s homes and at meals after worshiping with them. This is how it should be!

Our lives as people of God are not separate from our daily lives. The peace we have with God because our sins have been forgiven through the death and resurrection of Christ, which we receive continually through His preaching and Sacraments, fills our lives with joy!

We worship together, eat together, play together, and enjoy life together because we know that in Christ we have the forgiveness of all of our sins and eternal life with God awaiting us! This is most certainly true, Luther teaches us to say in the Small Catechism.

All praise to our Savior, who said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
